    These are much more than just dips...They're really a "base of flavors" that can be used in so many delicious ways. We carefully choose the ingredients, dehydrate them in our kitchen, blend them together, and package them in air-tight jars to preserve their pure & robust flavors.

    When you're using our "Dips", the dry ingredients should be mixed with whatever you're using for the "liquid"...for example, sour cream (regular, low, or no fat), mayo, sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese, buttermilk, tomatoes/tomato sauce, or ??? Then, let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. This step will allow the garlic & herbs to bring forth their full potential of "flavor bloom".

    This is a brand-new section of products for us, and our first entry is a very special Garlic Olive Oil (available soon!) that we have blended exclusively for "Garlic Fanatics" (like us!) - It doesn't have just a 'hint' of garlic...this is the real thing!

    We're still testing and compiling information on the many uses for it, but don't let that stop you...this stuff can be used wherever you'd like a good olive oil with serious garlic overtones. We're munching away on some nice fresh Italian bread dipped in this 'golden goodness' here in our test kitchen while we're thinking...M-M-M GOOD! (Sorry, we're a bit distracted here...)

    RECIPES

    ROASTED GARLIC LAMB STEAKS

  • 2 tbsp. Garlic Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip
  • 3/4 tsp. Garlic Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Gourmet Pepper (Grinder)
  • 4 Lamb Steaks 3/4" thick


  • Preheat oven to 425 F. Combine Garlic Olive Oil, Dip, Salt, & Pepper (from Grinders). Brush over both sides of steaks.

    Place steaks in shallow pan uncovered. Cook turning once - about 7 miinutes per side for medium rare. Enjoy!



    GARLIC 'OVEN FRENCH FRIED' POTATOES


    3 Russet Potatoes (About 1.5 lbs., unpeeled)
    Olive Oil or Cooking Spray
    3 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip
    Garlic & Gourmet Pepper and Garlic & Sea Salt Grinders

    Preheat oven to 450 F. Coat large baking sheet cooking spray. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2" thick slices. Stack slices, cut lengthwise into 1/2" wide spears. Arrange in single layer on baking sheet. Coat potato spears with cooking spray or olive oil. Sprinkle Garlic & Herb Dip over potatoes. Grind Garlic & Sea Salt and Garlic Gourmet Pepper over the spears.

    Bake, turning "fries" once, until golden brown...about 25 minutes. Enjoy!


    GARLIC DIP & CHIP CHICKEN


    4 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip or Garlic & Dill Dip
    1 cup milk
    1 - 3.5 lb. chicken cut into pieces
    2 c. "ridged" potato chips, coarsely crushed
    Garlic oil
    2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley or 1 tbsp. dried parsley

    Preheat oven to 375 F.

    Reserve 2 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip in resealable bag. Combine remaining Garlic & Herb Dip with the milk & mix well. Put this mixture into a large resealable bag. Remove and discard skin from chicken, except the wings. Add chicken to milk mixture in bag and turn bag to coat all pieces. Refrigerate 3 hours, turning occasionally.
    Coat baking sheet with garlic oil. Combine crushed potato chips, reserved Garlic & Herb Dip, and parsley. Remove chicken pieces from milk mixture and let excess drip off. Coat chicken with dry chip/dip/parsley mixture. Arrange on baking sheet. Bake 30-40 minutes until chicken is no longer pink near bone. If edges of chicken brown too quickly, rotate pan halfway through baking time.


    GARLIE'S GARLIC BUTTER


    1 cup butter
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 tbsp. Goodness of Garlic Garlic Dip Mix - Dill or Herb

    Beat butter until soft & creamy. Add lemon juice & Garlic Dip Mix. Blend well. Refrigerate until needed
    (Which will be often!)


    HERBED GARLIC CHEESE SPREAD


    2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz. size)
    1 cup butter, softened
    1 tbsp. Goodness of Garlic Garlic & Herb Dip or Garlic & Dill Dip

    In mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and Kariboo Farms Dip until well-blended. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers and Kariboo Farms Pepper Jelly.



    GARLIE'S GARLIC WRAPS


    In advance, prepare a batch of Kariboo Farms Garlic & Herb Dip according to directions on jar. Set aside to chill.

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 cup red onion
    2 large cloves garlic, sliced thin
    1/2 cup red peppers, sliced
    1/2 cup zucchini, sliced
    1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
    2 tbsp. Goodness of Garlic Garlic & Pepper Jelly
    Goodness of Garlic Garlic & Herb Seasoning (to taste)
    1 or 2 wraps (Flour tortillas in your choice of flavors)

    PREPARATION:

    Slice vegetables into 1/2 inch strips. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently until onions are tender - about 5 minutes. Add red peppers, zucchini, & mushrooms. Add a generous sprinkling of Kariboo Farms Garlic & Herb Seasoning. Cook & stir frequently until red peppers & zucchini are tender, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat & stir in Kariboo Farms Garlic Pepper Jelly. Coat vegetables well.

    Divide mixture and place in center of each wrap. Fold up bottom, then fold in sides.
    Tuck in and enjoy with prepared Kariboo Farms Dip.

    Note: Any of your favorite vegetables can be substituted.

    CAST IRON GARLIC HERB POTATOES

  • 3 Russet Potatoes (2+ lbs.)
  • 1 tbsp. Garic Herb Dip
  • 3/4 tsp. Garlic & Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Gourmet Pepper (Grinder)
  • 2 tbsp. Butter or Margarine
  • Garlic Olive Oil


  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Peel and cut potatoes into 1/8" inch thick slices. In bowl, toss potatoes, Dip, Garlic.

    Coat bottom of 10" cast iron skillet with Garlic Olive Oil. Melt butter in skillet over med-high heat. Layer potato slices in overlapping circles. Using pot lid slightly smaller than skillet, press potatoes down to pack. Keep covered and cook 10 minutes.

    Cover skillet and put into oven. Roast until potatoes are tender; 20-30 minutes. Invert serving plate on to skillet to release potatoes on to serving plate. To serve - cut potatoes into wedges and garnish with parsley.



    HERB & GARLIC CHEESE-STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic & Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Gourmet Pepper (Grinder)
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip
  • 1 cup plus 1 tbsp. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere Cheese (about 2 oz.)
  • 4 bone-in Chicken Breast halves (about 2.5 lbs.)


  • Preheat oven to 450 F. Combine Garlic & Herb Dip and bread crumbs.

    Coat shallow roasting pan or jelly roll pan with cooking spray. In shallow bowl, lightly beat eggs with Garlic Sea Salt and Garlic Gourmet Pepper (form grinders). Place 1/2 cup Garlic & Herb seasoned bread crumbs in another bowl. In small bowl, combine cheese with remaining bread crumbs.

    Using small sharp knife, cut a pocket into thickest portion of each chicken breast and fill each with 2 tbsp. cheese mixture. Smooth outside edge of each breast to seal.

    Dip breasts one at a time into beaten egg, then gently roll in seasoned bread crumb mixture to coat evenly. (Lightly press bread crumbs on to chicken)

    Place coated chicken breasts on pan and coat with cooking spray. Bake until crispy, browned, & juicy and juices run clear...about 20 - 30 minutes.



    Sassy Southern Chicken

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 clove (or more!) freshed minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. Garlic Chili (Grinder)
  • 2 cups packed baby spinach leaves (about 2 oz.)
  • 4 large corn muffins or corn bread, cubed (or 5 cups regular white bread)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large roasting chicken, about 7 lbs.
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup Hot Garlic Pepper Jelly


  • Preheat oven to 350 f. Melt butter over medium heat in non-stick fry pan. Add onion, red pepper, fresh garlic, 1/2 tsp. salt and Garlic Chili (Grinder). Cook, stirring until just tender (3 - 4 minutes). Remove from heat. Transfer to bowl and stir in spinach, corn bread (or regular bread) cubes, and broth. Spoon mixture into chicken cavity.

    Place chicken in roasting pan and sprinkle with cumin and Garlic Sea Salt (Grinder) . Roast until meat thermometer inserted ito thickest part of thigh reads 180 F. (about 2 hours, 20 minutes).

    Microwave Hat Garlic Pepper Jelly on "high" for about 1 minute until completely melted. Brush melted jelly over chicen last 15 minutes of roasting time. Let stand 10 - 15 minutes before carving. Serve & Enjoy!



    Herb & Garlic Smashed Potatoes

  • 1.5 lbs. white or red potatoes, quartered but not peeled
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic & Herb Dip
  • 1 tbsp. chopped vhives or green onion (optional)
  • 3/4 tsp. Garlic Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic Gourmet Pepper (Grinder)
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard powder


  • In large pot, combine potatoes and fresh garlic with enough water to cover. Over high heat, bring to boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook until fork tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and return to pot.

    Mash potatoes and garlic with sour cream, butter, milk, Garlic & Herb Dip, chives or green onions, Garlic Salt (Grinder), Garlic Gourmet Pepper (Grinder), and mustard. Serve topped with additional butter if desired. This one is rich & yummy...Enjoy!
